Kikelewa Camp- 4 July 2022 Diary Entry Today was a very long 15 km hike. It was amazing views, where we had a very steep / difficult 4 hour start before lunch. We had lunch at 3450m and it was spaghetti! I had a good helping. I feel a little hot, have had to much sun today. It is only going to get worse. I am not going to strop putting on suntan lotion....

Day 0

2 July 2022 Arrival and Exploration Mt Kilimanjaro! Arrival After many hours travelling and waiting at airports for connecting flights. I am finally in Tanzania! WOW the time has come, and we are starting to walk soon (Tomorrow). After 2 years of waiting it seems this moment would not have arrived! We have a debrief session with Sean today at 7pm. Its going to be very very interesting The Day Union Cafe Today we went into Moshi, we had lunch and some coffee at a very nice coffee shop and then went cloth shopping just around the corner from where we ate and had coffee....

Kilimanjaro - Agenda - The Rongai Route

Agenda - Rongai Route 7 day Rongai Route – Camping experience Day 0 – Arrival at JRO Kilimanjaro International – collection from the airport – 1 hour transfer. Overnight at the designated hotel – dinner bed and continental breakfast – sharing twin rooms. Day 1 – Rongai Gate (1950m) – 1st Caves Camp (2600m) Breakfast, 8am departure and transfer to start of route. Mt Kilimanjaro Preparation Firstly I would like to say a BIG thank you to Stephanie @ Kusudi-La and Sean @ Adventure Dynamics for making the trip possible. It was one of a kind and man was it amazing. Both the adventure on the mountain but also the one getting to the mountain.
